People's Carnival - Parade Route 2010 |

People's Carnival Parade 2010 will follow the same route as previous years.
The route has
been agreed by the Carnival Management Group, the Police and the Local
Authority.
The route is approximately two miles long and starts with a slender
climb, up Park Road, from the start point to the Kings Road Roundabout. From here
it is more or less a flat route on the left side of the dual carriageway towards Hathershaw.
After Copsterhill Road, the route goes downhill to Honeywell Lane, where it turns left and then back to the park.
To be on the parade your group must first of all apply and register.

On receipt of your form we will notify you. The form also gives you the opportunity to apply for one of our special floats from Kelvin Lord Transport. For community groups, charities etc this is free. The cost to others will be £40 - this pays for the driver time and fuel. |
