Oldham Carnival Management Group 2007 consists of volunteers
from the
local community who themselves have experience in their
own community
and voluntary groups.
PAUL
DAVIES - I
live in Watershedding and have been on the Canival Management
Group since July 2004. I have been involved in community-based
voluntary work since the late 1970s - either in trade unions,
residents associations or campaign groups. Working
to revive Oldham Carnival has been an exciting project. I feel
proud to be working with the other group members - both past
and present. I think we're all learning from this great experience
in our lives.
