GETTING INVOLVED IN PEOPLE'S CARNIVAL 2012

Their are two ways you can be involved in the Carnival weekend: by VOLUNTEERING (helping out personally) or by SPONSORING (buying a stake in the event to promote your business).

Volunteering

Volunteers are at the heart of the People's Carnival. The Management Group are all Volunteers as are many of the participants in event - whether it's on one of our stages or on the field.

Volunteers are needed to help out in many different ways:

Guiding the public around the park

Helping in Stage Management

Manning Gates at the park

Assisting on the Carnival Parade

Keeping the park tidy through the day

Delivering leaflets

Helping in the management of the event

You'll meet people and enjoy your experience and you'll be able to list your involvement on your CV.

Sponsoring Carnival 2012

Sponsors are a vital part of the People's Carnival as they provide finance which helps to pay for the event. Sponsorships benefit both the Carnival

and the sponsor as its a way for local busines to show their support for the local community with financial help and also for them to receive, in return, promotional advertising with their logo on Carnival publicity, photoshoots and more.

Sponsorships can be tailored to suit the sponsor. There are many individual parts of the event can can be sponsored and the sponsored events carry the business name with them. Here are some sponsor opportunities at our 2012 event:

All sponsor names appear on all our publicity with logos on our website, banners, leaflets and posters. Each sponsor also gets a photoshoot and story in the local press.
