Booking Space - Food Vendors

At previous carnivals our food stalls have covered a wide range of food types -including Indian, Burgers, Fish and Chips, Japanese, German, Thai, Pizzas, Mash and Peas and Sandwiches etc. We try to make sure that we have only one of each different type of food. The food stalls are located in different areas of Alexandra Park.

TWO DAYS OF EVENTS

You can book to have space on the park for either the Saturday or Sunday shows, or both days. You must book 'full' days though. That is, you must be on the park and set-up before 12 noon on each day you have booked and cannot leave before 6pm (unless you have special circumstances). This is a health and safety regulation we have implemented to prevent the movement of vehicles - which could cause accidents.

We have worked out a realistic charge for food sellers - who can expect to make a good profit. Our price have stayed the same for five years and we are always fully booked with food.

2 DAYS for £450 or 1 DAY for £225

We will close applications for food space when we have reached the required number of twelve food stalls for the 2010 event. If you wish to book you will need to fill in the downloadable and printable form linked to at the bottom of this page and return it to us as soon as possible.

On receipt of the completed form and full payment your stall will be booked with us. Two weeks before the event we will send you plans and details of the event and a special pass to enable you get into the park and set your stall up.

On receipt of the completed form and your full payment, your area will be officially booked with us. Two weeks before the event we will send you plans and details of the event and a special pass to enable you get into the park and set your stall and marquee up.

HOW MUCH SPACE?

Our general rule is that you should plan for a 6m by 3m space - this is generally adequate for an average stall with a vehicle parked beside it.
But the form gives you options for space and you need to be clear what space you want for your activity so we can plan it for you.

Please note: Payments are non-refundable after the May 17th 2010 deadline date and you must being selling ONLY the food that you have booked for.

SETTING UP YOUR STALL

Sometime nearer the event, about a fortnight before, you will receive a pack from us containing all the details you'll need to know. We have to be fairly strict with our procedures so that we can organise the event safely and with the least amount of congestion etc. For a stsrt you will need to be on the Park by 10am on the morning you have (unless it is Sunday and you have set up your stall on Saturday). This gives you two hours to set-up.

If you do book both days, then dont worry about leaving your stall overnight, we have security on the park - although you should, of course, take your wares with you overnight.
